Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Employment type: Full time
Location: Foreshore Cape Town
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Working Setup: 40 hours per week Mondays to Fridays 10:00 to 19:00. Hybrid with Mondays and Fridays being mandatory office days.
The Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and detailoriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our South African team maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and supporting the Finance and Operations team with payrollrelated duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and have a strong aptitude for working with numbers and systems.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Prepare and process monthly RSA staff payroll accurately and in compliance with all statutory regulations.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure uptodate information in the payroll system.
Generate and export payroll reports for review and ensure statutory compliance.
Prepare monthly salaries payment files for timely disbursement.
Assist the Accountant and Finance & Operations Manager with monthly payroll journals.
Participate in payroll variance analysis and reviews.
Complete additional payrollrelated duties and tasks as directed by the Finance & Operations Manager.
Education:
BComm degree or equivalent (advantageous).
Relevant qualification or certification in RSA payroll.
Minimum 2 years of experience in administering and processing monthly RSA payroll.
Experience working on Sage Payroll Professional Cloud (advantageous).
Exposure to UK monthly payroll processing (advantageous).
Exceptional attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with a passion for working with numbers.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daytoday responsibilities autonomously.
Eagerness to learn and grow as a payroll professional.
Compensation and Incentives:
Base Salary:
Monthly base salary: R20000.00 R25000.00.
