What you will be doing:
- Support the firm’s business corporate and real estate law practice groups.
- Take a strategic and leadership role in the matters supported.
- Develop and maintain client and interpersonal relationships.
- Draft write and conduct research.
- Work closely with partners to provide quality and effective representation to clients.
- Manage all legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions including conducting due diligence and preparing legal documents.
- Manage closing checklists and coordinate with various parties involved in deals.
- Assist attorneys in managing all legal aspects of real estate transactions.
- Prepare contracts conduct title searches and review closing documents.
- Coordinate with lenders and title companies to ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
Experience you will need:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business corporate and real estate law.
- Experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions.
- Strong understanding of corporate law and securities regulations.
- Washington State Bar membership is a requirement.
