Senior Design Engineer Security Industry

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will encompass the meticulous design and implementation of solutions while maintaining the high standards our industry demands.
Design & Development
- Innovate and develop technical designs for electrical security products.
- Lead endtoend prototyping testing and design improvement processes to translate ideas into functional security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with international security standards and regulations across all projects.
Project Management
- Collaborate with diverse crossfunctional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Serve as a technical advisor to junior engineers providing mentorship and leadership within the team.
- Document design processes decisions and results using design and simulation tools.
Optimisation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Analyze product requirements to identify opportunities for improving design efficiency.
- Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders ensuring systems meet and exceed expectations.
- Present design concepts and prototypes through detailed datadriven reports to key decisionmakers.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
To thrive in this role candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Systems Engineering. Advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) are highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of handson experience in security system design engineering.
- Proven track record of overseeing highimpact design projects from concept to delivery.
- Experience handling crossfunctional teamwork in an international or hybrid work environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of security standards such as UL 2050 EN 50131 or equivalent.
- Familiarity with IoT devices or integrated systems (preferred but not essential).
