Job Description
Position Summary
The Production Engineer iplays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations by managing and processing production orders coordinating material availability and timely completion of tasks. The position serves a link between production planning team and the shop floor ensuring that all required materials documentation and instructions are in place for production activities. Ensure Project closure and cost analysis with no variance.
Functional Role
- Order receiving reviewing and acknowledgement.
- Process order starting point of where order is received from sales.
- Handling and registration of sales order in the SAPsystem.
- Act as a link between FL Sales PE and Engineering.
- Fulfill order step initiate and control engineering get approval for the design from the project/engineering.
- Organize and monitor purchasing and manufacturing activities for the sales order.
- Drawings and project specifications downloading updating and printing for production team.
- Work closely with Engineering PE Procurement and supplier on PR RFQ PO and material delivery status.
- Workload work capacity analysis and forecasting.
- Manhour collection and analysis.
- Providing regular updates to Asst./Production Managers communicating production progress and reporting on key production metrics.
- Resolving productionrelated issues identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Project Closing and Cost analysis reporting.
- Other tasks assigned by the Asst./Production Manager.
Qualifications :
Skills Knowledge
- With knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Applications
- Product Knowledge
- SAP knowledge Production & Project Modules (PP & PS)
- With Skills in Autocad
- With knowledge on TEAM CENTER and FIORI
