Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Accounting Clerk to support our Finance team on a fixedterm basis. The initial contract will be for 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking coding and posting invoices
  • Allocation incoming cash to customer accounts
  • Prepare intercompany recharge invoices
  • Record bank statements on a daily basis
  • Assistance in Internal Audit testing relating to SOX
  • Creating supplier/customer files
  • Reconciliation of intercompany balances
  • Sending out remittance statements to clients and suppliers
  • Ensuring that invoices are raised and distributed correctly
  • Credit collection and follow up
  • Producing credit notes statement in coordination with supply chain department
  • Distribution of intercompany statements to appropriate entities
  • Reconciling Intercompany balances at the end of period
  • Providing information to German tax advisors for monthly filing
  • Reconciliations of A/P A/R and Cash general ledger accounts
  • Support month end close process

Requirements :

The following knowledge and experience would be considered advantageous

  • Experience of using ERP systems
  • Utilisation of Microsoft Office Products with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Working within a SOX Environment
  • Experience in using Internet Banking Platforms
  • Enjoys working in an international environment
