Job Description
As part of the Software Development Center you collaborate with both functional and technical stakeholders to define product features and enhancements. You will be working on the MLFF (Multi Lane Free Flow tolling) project.
As the frontline of the software design review activities you will:
- Collaborate and coordinate with NLEX to:
- Define Toll Product Vision and ensuring MLFF service meets MPTC/NLEX priorities and requirements
- Ensuring MLFF service is accessible to everyone including people who have disability
- Help with prioritizing where applicable
- Meet with clients functional team to translate their highlevel requirements into stories and tasks. Keep the communication flowing throughout the design review process.
- Work closely with software engineers to adjust their technical designs with clients expectations.
- Remain customercentric oriented and leverage feedback for continuous improvement.
As a seasoned software engineer you will lead some Integration Working Groups (IWG):
- Gather Technical information about specific interfaces (payment gateways case management call centers)
- Define interfaces requirements for their integrations into the product.
- Design/Specify the interface integration with the product.
- Act as a liaison between functional stakeholders software engineers and thirdparty integrators.
Ideal candidates would have experience with :
- Functional requirements gathering
- Software design and conception: Specification writing.
- Systems integrations design (validation rules integration through API flatfile event driven)
- Client facing with both operational & technical team
- Internal facing with software engineers
- Unified Modeling Language (UML)
In order to fulfill this role the candidate must also be an autonomous openminded and creative team player. Good time management and project management skills are a must.
Duties and responsibilities
- Accountable for the design review activity from requirements workshops to the final design validation in collaboration with clients and internal engineering teams.
- Lead some Integration Working Groups (IWG) and design related interface integration with the product.
- Ensures that product features and enhancements fall within the scope of the project and meet acceptance criteria.
Qualifications :
Education and experience
- Masters degree in computer science information technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Software Product Owner.
Required skills and qualifications
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to understand high level requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technical drawings (UML): Activity diagram Sequence diagram Component diagram
- Technical software specification writing and understanding.
- Highly autonomous and eager to dig technical documentations.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
