We can provide entitlement development design procurement construction management project management expert witness and litigation support services on a variety of building types. This is a fulltime position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for the Project Development Manager position would be an experienced professional with at least ten years of experience in managing the planning design and construction of capital projects including a minimum of five years in educational facility construction or public works projects. This individual should be highly skilled in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong focus on scope schedule budget and overall project success. The ideal candidate will be adept at resolving complex issues related to planning design and construction and capable of providing functional direction to teams including Assistant Facility Development Managers and Design Managers. They should have a solid track record in coordinating with various stakeholders including government agencies and utility representatives to ensure project milestones are met. Strong fiscal management skills are essential particularly in managing design professional contracts verifying scopes and fees and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. A bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management is required with preferred certifications such as a valid Architect or Professional Engineer registration a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential and LEED Professional Accreditation. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent communication organizational and leadership skills and be capable of developing and recommending internal policies and procedures to ensure the success of the projects.
