This is a fulltime position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for the Junior Scheduler position would be a detailoriented professional with at least one year of experience in scheduling preferably on educational facilities or public works projects. They should have a strong foundation in Primavera and MS Office Suite with the ability to assist senior schedulers in maintaining and updating program/project schedules. This individual should be capable of analyzing schedules for data integrity performing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on contractor submittals and ensuring that all schedules adhere to the necessary guidelines. They must be able to read and interpret construction drawings to determine if work is within scope and understand contract terms to evaluate the validity of time extensions. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in performing critical path and earned value analyses and have excellent communication organizational and planning skills. A bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management is required along with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and department staff.
