Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Mechanic II Free Housing Support
LOCATION: San Antonio TX
PAY RATE: $4750/hour

We are a national staffing firm partnering with toptier aerospace companies and we are seeking firstclass employees to join our clients teams!

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

  • Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft including flight controls hydraulics and fuel systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints technical orders and manufacturer manuals for repair work.

  • Utilize specialized tools such as torque wrenches micrometers and sheet metal brakes.

  • Maintain technical certifications and follow strict safety protocols.

  • Work various shifts including weekends and overtime as needed.

  • This is a nonmanagerial nonleadership role.

Required Skills:

  • 4 years of heavy aircraft structures experience (clearly list aircraft platform experience on resume).

  • Expertise in close tolerance drilling reaming removal and installation of critical structures (e.g. doublers triplers seat tracks stringers).

  • Ability to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (Dual citizenship may affect eligibility).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb ladders work in confined spaces and lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Exposure to noise and elevated platforms requiring PPE use.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with VIP or specialty aircraft interiors.

  • Depotlevel/heavy structures maintenance experience.

  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification (preferred).
