Job Position: Saw Shop Helper
Location: Pryor OK 74361
Pay Rate: $15.00$16.00/hr
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM2:30 PM
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Saw Shop Helper to join our team in Pryor OK. The Saw Shop Helper will play a key role in supporting the saw shop team with material handling machine setup maintenance and ensuring the quality of finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials and organize and stage them for cutting operations.
- Machine Assistance: Assist with saw and tool setup and perform basic maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality ensuring they meet specifications.
- Work Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain saws tools and the overall work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Inventory Support: Assist with maintaining inventory levels and completing necessary documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean hazardfree workspace.
Requirements
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or saw shop environment is a plus.
