North Bay Building Products is a B2B distribution source. Businesses rely on our expertise to supply highquality building materials to Building Centers and Hardware Stores.

Position Summary

North Bay Building Products are hiring a Sales Manager Ontario Canada. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth managing customer relationships and leading the sales team to meet and exceed company goals. This position is a key leadership role responsible for aligning the sales strategy with North Bay s overall business objectives while ensuring exceptional service delivery and market competitiveness.


Requirements:

  • Manage and lead the sales team ensuring they meet sales and department goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Provide ongoing coaching training and development to the team to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Set individual and team sales targets. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans.
  • Optimize workflows and communication strategies for the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the warehouse to ensure there are no problems with deliveries materials or scheduling.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Analyze sales data to assess performance and refine strategies. Prepare detailed reports on sales performance trends and forecasts for upper management.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with upper management marketing and accounting to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure the team complies with company policies pricing guidelines and industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of highperformance teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field.

  • 5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales preferably in building materials.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Familiarity with building supplies products such as decking materials railings and siding.

  • Experience in businessto business (B2B) sales preferably in the building materials industry servicing "bigbox" Building Centers and Hardware Stores.

  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and extended hours which may be required from time to time.

  • Effective business communication skills initiative and confidence in making strategic decisions under pressure.

  • A strong background of outside sales in the businesstobusiness market.

  • Flexibility to travel when required.
