Virtual Rockstar is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented parttime Medical Virtual Assistant to support our client s physical therapy practice in Pennsylvania. This role is essential in providing exceptional patientfocused service and facilitating smooth operations within the practice.

Responsibilities:
Conduct insurance verifications and manage referrals from other healthcare providers.
Monitor patient dropoff lists and provide appointment reminders.
Greet patients virtually via the Virtual Sally front desk kiosk offering directions within the facility.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
Follow up with patients postsession to ensure their ongoing care and satisfaction.
Obtain preauthorizations for procedures and update patient files with insurance information.
Explain insurance benefits to patients and assist with insurancerelated queries.
Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details.
Manage therapists schedules and coordinate patient appointments.
Answer calls and assist patients virtually providing support and information as needed.
Perform data entry and generate basic reports as required.
Strong familiarity with Empower EMR Microsoft Word Excel Adobe and Virtual Sally is a plus.
Robust computer skills including a minimum of 16 GB of RAM for efficient multitasking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
