Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Pocklington & Brough.
Location: The role is based in the Pocklington or Brough areas depending on your location.
Pay: We offer competitive hourly rates of 12.60 per hour PLUS paid travel and wait time in addition to paying 30p/mile. We also pay double on all bank holidays.
Shift patterns:
- Morning Shift: 07:00 14:15
- Evening shift: 16:30 22:30
- We also all work alternative weekends.
All our shift patterns are highly flexible and part time to allow for an excellent work life balance.

Job Description
- Companionship everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
- Accompaniment to appointments or a spot of shopping
- Meal preparation a sandwich or a home cooked meal
- Light housekeeping a run around with the hoover or a spot of dusting

Qualifications :

- Your own car and to have business insurance.
- Able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
