Job Description
The video editor/cinematographer will be responsible for editing video rushes into finished projects that are suitable for publishing and meet requirements. Also takes creative and professional photo shots for Ringier Ghana.
Responsibilities
Taking professional shots and directing photoshoots as well as editing for professional outcomes.
Edit videos into creative formats for target audience that ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Providing advice and expertise on appropriate background setup for photography work.
Assembling setting up and maintaining photography equipment
Planning preparing and rehearsing scenes.
Collaborate with team members on video and camerarelated assignments
Provide advisory services on video and camerarelated issues to Ringier and its clients
Provide editing perspective during shots to aid in the production of professional videos
Review shooting script for relevant input
Responding quickly to directions
Following camera script.
Continuously discover and implement new relevant technologies and industry s best practices to maximize efficiency.
There may be other responsibilities in your line of duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Good first degree in Communication Design Visual Communication Design Fine Arts Cinematography and related fields
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Familiarity with special effects like 3D
Good working knowledge of Premiere After Effect Final Cut and other relevant applications
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi task and stay focused
Creative professional and able to pay attention to details.
