Job Description
Multistate design firm is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for their team in Colorado Springs!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial success of projects through development of scopes schedules and budgets
- Track/monitor project progress to ensure timely completion (measure project performance and ensure deliverables in line with scope schedule and budget)
- Responsible for complex contract negotiations
- Build/manage project teams and assign responsibilities based on technical skills capabilities and expertise to meet project objectives
- Primary liaison for all parties involved in a project
- Ensure that technical work meets company standards and the terms of the contract
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Manage change requests
- Execute risk management techniques
- Document project deliverables and maintain detailed records (correspondence design plans etc.)
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Ensure regulations and safety standards are followed
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering
- 8 years of highway or municipal design experience
- 5 years of project management experience including scope schedule and budget control
- Registered PE
- Experience using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Salary is commensurate with experience.
