Job Description
- Collaborate with the technical team to maintain machinery and troubleshoot issues for optimal production.
- Work with the production team to adjust formulations or processes to ensure quality.
- Act as a backup for the Plant Engineer Officer when required.
- Monitor the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Record production data including batch numbers ingredient quantities and process conditions.
- Perform quality control tests on inprocess samples and finished products.
- Compare test results against quality specifications.
- Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the laboratory with safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of all tests and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Report safety hazards or incidents to relevant personnel.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Industrial Laboratory Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and the use of standard lab equipment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
