Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and lead a safe and confident learning environment for students to strive for and meet ambitious targets.
- Engage all students across grades with classical content through a deep mastery and love for the art form.
- Foster an inviting growthoriented classroom environment for academic and character formation.
- Implement a classicallyinspired inquirybased curriculum aligned with national and state standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching strategies that resonate with diverse learners.
- Cultivate higherorder thinking skills in students to enhance their analytical creative synthesizing and evaluating abilities.
- Utilize assessment data to strengthen student achievement through targeted interventions and personalized instruction.
- Develop strong connections with students and families to foster a passion for learning and academic success.
- Foster productive relationships with colleagues parents and the community while engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution preferably within the content area.
- Possession of current NJ Music teaching certification.
- Experience leading students from diverse cultural economic and ability backgrounds is preferred.
- Dedication to providing all students with an academically robust inspiring and joyful learning experience.
- Commitment to the educational mission of the school in service to the school community.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
