Job Description
Our client a longtime local manufacturer is looking for multiple Warehouse Order Pickers to join their team! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application. These positions will start immediately for the right candidate.
For consideration you must have a current order picker forklift and working at heights license.
Salary:
$20.00 per hour temporary to permanent.
Hours of Work:
Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Safely utilizing an Order Picker or Counterbalance Forklift to pick orders from the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
- Preparing orders for delivery. Shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Assisting with loading and unloading both by hand and using an order picker.
- Periodically completing inspection of equipment advising supervisor of any issues.
- Checking prepared loads for accuracy and completeness.
- Adherence to all safety processes.
- General help with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a current order picker forklift license.
- Must have a working from heights license.
- Must have strong English communication skills both spoken and written.
- Excellent math skills is important.
- Desire to work in a warehouse setting in a unique and specialized industry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not repetitive or constant).
- Ability to work fulltime 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
