We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Accounts SemiSenior to join our clients thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to further their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of yearend accounts for a variety of clients ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Completing personal and corporate tax returns including computations and submissions to HMRC.
- Providing support to senior team members in conducting audits and assurance engagements (25% of the role)
- Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and address queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilizing accounting software and systems to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as required by management.
Requirements
- AAT qualified or partqualified ACA/ACCA with relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero Sage or QuickBooks.
- Audit experience is not essential but desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive and teamoriented approach with a commitment to delivering highquality service to clients.

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Wokingham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
