EFL Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering highquality lessons following the ANGLO syllabus. ANGLO sessions promote the communicative approach with emphasis on speaking and listening skills. An overview of the role follows:
Plan and deliver highquality engaging lessons that meet the needs of ANGLO teenage students
Work closely with colleagues in the teaching team to deliver the ANGLO experience
Embrace the communicative approach to language teaching and create an engaging inclusive learning environment in language lessons excursion lessons and project lessons.
Your role & responsibilities
Liaising with the Teaching Manager and/or WTS with regards to all relevant teaching and student matters
Teaching levels and course types as directed by the TM/WTS and to plan all classes sufficiently and mark students work
Selecting appropriate supplementary materials demonstrating sensitivity to the students needs and cultural backgrounds
Completing a weekly scheme of work
Completing attendance registers accurately and to report any absence or sickness to the TM/ATM at the beginning of each lesson
Being familiar with and following guidelines outlined in the Teacher Manual
Attending and participating in teacher briefings meetings and CPD sessions as and when required
Ensuring students are prepared for presentations excursions and cultural visits
Responding to any issues incidents and or complaints in an appropriate and timely manner; ensuring that the Teaching Manager is informed as required
Exploiting every opportunity for students to learn English both inside and outside the classroom
Creating a positive learning environment which is well organised and supports the introduction of British culture as part of the curriculum
Providing students with adequate feedback on their work
Accurately completing the students weekly academic reports
Following ANGLO s safeguarding and welfare policies at all times
Demonstrating a high level of professionalism at all times
Requirements
Essential (Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements)
You have the right to work in the UK
University degree TEFLI qualification or equivalent experience (e.g.: CELTA Trinity CertTESOL PGCE 120 hour TEFL course)
Native or nearnative English fluency
Dynamic teaching approach

Prior experience of teaching U18s
Young Learners teaching qualification
