This role offers you the chance to shape the future of healthcare communications by introducing Spok s innovative product portfolio to organisations in your assigned territory. From demonstrating cuttingedge software applications to selling advanced messaging and wireless communication products you ll play a key role in transforming how healthcare organisations connect and collaborate.

What You ll Do
  • As a Healthcare IT Sales Specialist you ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts. Your key responsibilities include:

Strategic Sales & Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate consultative sales relationships with executive and senior management across your territory.
  • Develop strong ties with key influencers including business partners and consultants.
Product Demonstration & Client Education:
  • Present and demonstrate Spok s comprehensive portfolio of solutions services and hardware.
  • Educate and empower business partners to effectively prospect qualify leads and close deals.
Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and activity log in Zoho or Salesforce.
  • Drive RFP/RFI responses and configure solutions to meet customer needs.
Revenue Growth:
  • Consistently exceed annual booking targets and increase market share in your territory.
  • Lead direct sales activities including prospecting deal qualification contract negotiations and closing netnew business.
Industry Engagement:
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences regionally and nationally to network and represent Spok.
  • Build relationships with consultants and internal stakeholders to influence opportunities.
We re looking for a driven sales professional with:

Experience & Expertise:
  • 3 years of proven success selling enterprise software solutions in the Healthcare IT space.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Zoho or Salesforce (experience with Altify is a bonus).
Relationship Builder:
  • Ability to build trust and maintain consultative relationships at all organisational levels.
Strong Communicator:
  • Skilled in presenting complex solutions in a clear and compelling way.
Flexible & Committed:
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet clients attend events and close deals.

The successful candidate will need: Experience in IT Sales Highly driven and want to succeed financially in life! Drive, passion and the enjoyment of teamwork Excellent computer literacy, primarily around the Microsoft Office package (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Experience with managing sales projections in a CRM Have the right personality and therefore the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients Positive attitude and therefore the ability to meet and exceed KPIs Outstanding organisational and administrative skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and negotiation skills While the role will be fast paced, challenging and demanding, it is also a fantastic opportunity to join a focused working environment that maintains an energetic atmosphere.
