Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a talented Product Designer to join their team in Shenzhen China. This role focuses on creating innovative and intuitive user experiences across their product portfolio including consumerfacing imaging tools for lifestyle scenarios and professional imaging applications for productivity scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess strong aesthetic judgment trend awareness and the ability to contribute to evolving design systems. Please note that the successful candidate will need to relocate to China for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Excellence:
- Create sophisticated trendsetting visual designs that balance aesthetics with functionality
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive design systems
- Implement and follow design principles and patterns that enhance product consistency
- Deliver highquality design work from concept to final implementation
2. User Experience & Research:
- Participate in user research to understand user behaviors needs and motivations
- Create user flows wireframes and highfidelity prototypes
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design solutions
- Analyze user feedback to inform design decisions
3. Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers engineers and researchers
- Clearly communicate design decisions and rationales to stakeholders
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Contribute to the overall design quality of the team
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in UXUI design for consumer products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Refined aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
- Understanding of current design trends
- Experience with design systems
- Work on consumer apps and/or B2B products
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong prototyping skills for communicating interactive designs
- Understanding of technical constraints in modern platforms
- Experience with componentbased design
Additional Requirements:
- Professional English proficiency
- Citizenship or work authorization in Europe UK US Canada Australia or New Zealand
- Must be willing and able to relocate to Shenzhen China
- Ability to work effectively in distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills
- Open to working in a multicultural environment and adapting to life in China
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AIpowered products.
- Basic knowledge of frontend/client development principles
- Background in visual design or motion design
- Understanding of global design trends
