Overview: As a Project Leader you will work closely with governments across SubSaharan Africa to design and implement strategies that deliver on policy commitments.

Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced consulting leaders to join our growing consulting team based in the SubSaharan African region. At this time we are particularly looking for colleagues with experience delivering in various content areas. As a Project Leader you ll lead consulting teams working with governments and coalitions to support ontheground delivery of project priorities. In this role you will also support our teams as we grow our work across Africa bringing a sharp and datainformed analytical problemsolving skill set in addition to program management experience. The geographical focus of this particular role will primarily be Francophone West and Central Africa; however there may be project needs across other regions as well.
You will enhance policy outcomes by formulating and testing recommendations supporting improved decisionmaking at senior government levels: mayors prime ministers and presidents.
Project Leaders receive excellent training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from peers and experts. Whether you want to sharpen your presentation skills improve client engagement or increase areaspecific expertise Delivery Associates provides Project Leaders pathways to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with governments and donors engaging senior leaders in public sectors on their most complex challenges by building capabilities for delivering priority projects and informing datadriven decisionmaking with Deliverology®
- Lead and drive impact for our clients across multiple workstreams including daytoday execution of projects while guiding and coaching client teams to deliver and sustain concrete results.
- Facilitate problemsolving collaboration learning and continuous improvement across silos.
- Develop highquality presentations reports and engagement pieces for the client and the leadership of Delivery Associates.
- Lead interactive workshops with stakeholders and deliver highquality training sessions to groups of trainees;
- Take ownership in building internal assets including business development recruitment IP development etc

Required skills/Experience
- Educational background: Bachelor s Degree in any relevant field an advanced degree is a plus.
- Professional experience: 8 years years of relevant experience in the public sector at consulting firms or international organizations with demonstrable clientfacing delivery.
- Technical proficiency: Sector expertise in one or more industries within Africa is a plus.
- Team leadership/Project management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and/or programme management experience
- Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with businesslevel proficiency in both English and French.
Other requirements
- Must have existing righttowork documentation for Africa.
- Based or willing to relocate to SubSaharan countries with a willingness to develop Delivery Associates activities across the continent.
- Knowledge of specific policy fields such as agriculture health education climate or international development is desirable.
