Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant specializing in Product Design and CAD Automation using CATIA V5. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and automating CAD processes with a strong focus on CATIA V5. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative design solutions and improve CAD workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex products using CATIA V5.
- Automate CAD processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and CADrelated issues.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD technology and implement relevant improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design and CAD automation using CATIA V5.
- Strong knowledge of CAD automation tools and techniques.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in other CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks NX) is a plus.
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is preferred.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Strong understanding of product design principles and CAD automation.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
