Be part of our client s team as a Network Engineer where you will be at the forefront of designing configuring and maintaining secure highperformance network infrastructures. In this role you ll troubleshoot optimize and enhance network operations while ensuring seamless connectivity for businesses worldwide.
What s in Store for You
Shift: Shifting schedule
Work Setup: Remote / Work from Home Sri Lanka
- Configure and maintain network hardware and software including switches routers firewalls and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot network issues for customers and partners.
- Monitor and manage system tools to detect and resolve network problems.
- Develop and maintain network documentation including diagrams configuration files and related materials.
- Follow strict change control procedures to ensure network stability.
- Participate in oncall rotation for network support.
- Provide technical support to both external and internal customers via phone.
- Attend onsite visits as needed.
- Maintain highquality service standards at all times.
- Contribute to network improvement projects as required.
- Identify and propose enhancements for internal and customer systems.
Requirements
What It Takes to Succeed
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in network engineering.
- JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate) certification.
- Handson experience with Cisco Juniper Aruba and Arista networking platforms.
- Expertise in firewall platforms (FortiGate Palo Alto Cisco).
- Strong knowledge of VPNs firewall configurations and network protocols (BGP DNS DHCP).
Preferred:
- Vendorspecific certifications (NSE PCSNA CCNA).
- Previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
- Basic understanding of SSL certificates.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of desktop and server infrastructure (Windows Linux).
- Strong problemsolving abilities and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
