Job Description
As a Patent Attorney you will play a vital role in drafting and managing patent applications for clients across industries including mechanical software and aerospace. From conducting patent searches to managing client portfolios your expertise will directly contribute to safeguarding intellectual property on a global scale.
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PST (Weekends off)
Work Setup: Remote/Work from Home
- Draft patent applications across various industries primarily mechanical software and aerospace.
- Conduct comprehensive patent searches and prepare detailed reports.
- Draft office action responses and conduct infringement analyses.
- Monitor document systems to track upcoming deadlines (30 60 and 90 days).
- Organize client portfolios and track progress.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing patentrelated communications and responses.
- Manage and organize client documents to ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 3 years of experience in patent prosecution including patent drafting.
- Strong experience with US patents.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proven track record of managing patent portfolios and coordinating clientrelated tasks.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred: Legal background.
- Plus: USPTO Patent Registration Number.
