Job Description
Job Title: PartQualified Accountant / Accounts SemiSenior
Location: Epsom Surrey
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable independent accountancy practice in Epsom Surrey in their search for a PartQualified Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a wellestablished firm offering a varied workload and a strong focus on client service. The practice values professional development and worklife balance offering hybrid working options flexibility and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team as well as taking individual accountability to Managers and Partners.
- Managing a diverse client portfolio including partnerships sole traders and limited companies.
- Assisting with client payrolls and pension submissions.
- Providing bookkeeping and preparing management accounts.
- Preparation and submission of VAT/CIS returns.
- Assisting with yearend accounts preparation for review by Managers or Partners.
- Performing corporation tax computations.
- Occasional involvement in audits as needed.
- Providing support to other service clients as required.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience within an accountancy practice ideally managing a range of clients.
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as VAT CIS bookkeeping payroll and tax.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and clientfacing experience.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.
