Job Role: Window & Glass Cleaning Operative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am12pm (30 hours per week)

Pay: 12.00 per hour

Location: Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre Gloucester GL1 5SH

Reporting to: Site Supervisor

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced window cleaner to join the site cleaning team in Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre.

Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre is renowned for its popular events outlet shopping and leisure quarter with restaurants gym and cinema this is a fun and fast place to work.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks safely and professionally to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts as and when required. Experienced is preferred but full training will be provided.

Duties Include:

• To ensure the agree window & glass cleaning specification is completed as per instructions
  
• Assisting with preventing any site accidents by ensuring any spills are cleaned up and cleared away within an efficient time to ensure the safety of visitors and staff
  
• Ensuring the companies health and safety policies are followed at all times
  
• Patrolling the centre remaining vigilant at all times to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained
  
• Emptying of bins ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
  
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site providing a professional and friendly service
  
• Understanding the needs of our customer respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
  

Requirements

• An understanding of COSHH.
  
• Good attention to detail.
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  
• Flexibility to cover shifts as and when required.
  
• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
