About the Role
As a Billing Assistant you ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient billing operations. You ll work closely with various teams across the business providing support in a wide range of billing tasks and building strong relationships along the way. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the endtoend billing process from preparing invoices to finalising payments ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Manage a personal portfolio of clients building relationships and addressing any billing queries with a high standard of customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams including Accounts Receivable and Credit Control to ensure smooth processing and prompt payment of invoices
- Handle complex billing scenarios and resolve any discrepancies quickly and effectively
- Log amendments and adjustments accurately for audit purposes ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
- Continuously evaluate billing processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and productivity
- Assist in monthend reporting by preparing billing data for senior management providing insights into trends and key metrics
About You
- You will ideally have some experience in billing or in general transactional finance in a role where you ve managed a client portfolio or supported multiple stakeholders
- You will be organised with a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- You will have strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to resolve queries professionally and efficiently
- Have a proactive approach with a knack for identifying opportunities to improve processes
- You will want to grow and develop within a forwardthinking team that values your contributions
