- Salary range £28000 to £33000 (based on 35 years of experience this could be flexible depending on level of experience)
This is an independent role working in a very experienced team. You will have the benefit of having both technical and client facing developers to help develop your skillset. This role would be very suitable for someone who is use to working on their own project lifecycle or is hoping to develop into that particular area.

Your Key Responsibilities
In this role you ll:
- Design maintain and update PHPbased websites including WordPress platforms ensuring seamless functionality and mobilefirst design
- Work closely with clients and the wider development team to transform business goals into intuitive userfriendly experiences
- Drive innovation. Suggest and implement improvements to existing websites while staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Prepare UAT environments for client approval and provide accurate project estimates
- Problemsolve. Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
What We re Looking For
We re looking for a skilled and adaptable developer with a balance of backend and frontend expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience of
- PHP MySQL MVC frameworks (preferably Zend) and responsive design principles
- HTML5 CSS3 SASS/LESS JavaScript JQuery and Bootstrap
- WordPress expertise. Custom theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and payment gateways
- Tools & platforms such as GIT cPanel and experience with Magento theme creation
- Ability to convert designs from tools like Adobe Photoshop into functional web pages
- Confidence in presenting to clients and collaborating effectively this will initially be a smaller part of the role
