Location: Carrollton TX (All 5 days onsite)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Module Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database concepts data protection and cloud technologies with handson experience in Python REST API development and AWS services. This position requires someone who can build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for database deployments and possess a comprehensive understanding of database operations and disaster recovery strategies. The position will involve working onsite at the client location in Carrollton TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the module in all aspects of database management including architecture storage optimization and managed services.
- Oversee database operations including backup methods tools and monitoring.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies (DR) and assess the pros and cons of various DR tools and approaches.
- Work on data protection solutions to ensure the safety and integrity of client data.
- Architect and implement data virtualization technologies including a solid understanding of the conceptual and architectural aspects.
- Develop and maintain Pythonbased REST APIs using core Python skills for integration and automation.
- Utilize AWS functions such as CloudFormation Lambda S3 Artifactory CloudWatch CloudTrail KMS keys IAM roles and Security Groups to build efficient solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless database deployments.
- Manage and optimize Unix scripting to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Understand GitHub workflows and use Swagger to work with API calls.
Key Skills Required:
- Database Concepts: Indepth knowledge of architecture storage options and optimization techniques.
- Database Operations: Handson experience with backup methods tools and monitoring systems.
- Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of DR strategies and a deep understanding of different DR tools with their pros and cons.
- Data Protection: Expertise in safeguarding client data through various protection mechanisms.
- Data Virtualization: Familiarity with conceptual and architectural aspects of data virtualization technologies.
- Python: Strong core Python skills particularly in developing and managing REST APIs.
- AWS: Experience with a wide range of AWS services including CloudFormation Lambda S3 Artifactory CloudWatch CloudTrail KMS keys IAM roles Security Groups and more.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience building and maintaining pipelines that deploy databases efficiently.
- Unix and Scripting: Strong understanding of Unix systems and the ability to create scripts for automating processes.
- API Development: Familiarity with GitHub and understanding Swagger for making API calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role with expertise in database management cloud technologies and Python development.
- Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with crossfunctional teams.
