Prado Power a leading name in the renewable energy sector is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cuttingedge renewable energy projects ensuring cost efficiency and sustainability across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities for renewable energy projects.
Monitor and manage project expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
Evaluate tender documents contracts and proposals to ensure financial viability.
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
Conduct regular cost analysis and risk assessments throughout project life cycles.
Provide advice on contract management and procurement strategies.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks related to construction and energy projects.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field.
Two to three years of proven experience in quantity surveying preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
Professional certification (e.g. RICS NIQS) is highly desirable.
Proven experience in quantity surveying preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel AutoCAD or cost estimation tools.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is an added advantage.
