Job Description

Call Schedule: Sat & Sun; usually 8a5p

Call Type: Beeper

Call Response Time: 20 mins

Patient Volume: 1015 per day or varies

Patient Demographics: 18 yrs old

Admissions Required: Yes

Rounding Included: Yes

Duties:

Will not be admitting from the ED; May be required to do direct admissions from the regional hospitals. Regional admissions are coordinated through in house transfer center.

Required Procedures:

Disorders: Anxiety Affective ADD/ADHD Personality Eating Development Psychotic & Organic.

Familiarity W/ Involuntary commitments Seclusion therapy & Restraint application.

Pharmacotherapy Group & Family therapy.

Trauma Level: I III

EMR: Cerner

Other Info:

Psychiatric Adult Treatment Unit (PATU)

Voalte (secure internal paging system) is used for communication.

Acute psychiatric unit & Subacute unity/residential

Locums are not on call during nonbusiness hours covering scheduled assigned shifts only.

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MT License or IMLC

BC/BE

BLS
