Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide care to students at a residential training facility in Greenville Kentucky (KY). The clinical psychologist will be responsible for providing mental health services for students. The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Kentucky.

Requirements:
Active KY Clinical Psychology License
A Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities:
Review counseling staffs intake assessments for students with a mental health history current concerns or those requesting consultation within one week of arrival.
Conduct mental health assessments and provide recommendations for referred students.
Offer shortterm counseling with mental health checkins as needed.
Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
Collaborate with facility program specialists to provide shortterm counseling for students with cooccurring mental health and substance use conditions.
Work with the facility physician and health and wellness staff to monitor psychotropic medication for stable students consulting psychiatrist advice if necessary.
Facilitate referrals to offfacility mental health professionals or agencies for additional support.
Assist counseling staff in developing and leading psychoeducational skillbuilding groups.
Participate in regular case conferences with counselors and other staff members to discuss individual student needs.
Provide clinical consultation to the facilitys management regarding mental health promotion and education initiatives.
Deliver a minimum 1hour presentation on mental health promotion for all new students.
Organize at least one annual facilitywide mental health promotion and education activity.
Coordinate with other departments and programs to develop integrated mental health promotion and education services.
Other duties as assigned by the facilitys administration.
