Job Description

Our organization is actively looking for a fulltime Special Education Teacher for the current academic year. This role guarantees fulltime hours through the end of the school year with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

As the Special Education Teacher you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs in a selfcontained classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with parents caregivers and staff to develop tailored educational strategies that meet each student s unique challenges. Additionally participation in districtprovided professional development sessions will be required.

Job Overview:

Fulltime position for the current school year with the potential for renewal
Teach and support students with diverse learning needs in a selfcontained classroom setting
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student s specific goals and challenges
Collaborate with parents caregivers and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment

Requirements

A valid Tennessee Teaching K12 Certification is required along with a Bachelor s Degree in Special Education or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting children with diverse disabilities and a demonstrated history of success as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar role.
