Job Description

Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding an Architect experienced in lab design to their San Francisco team!


Responsibilities:
  • Develop plans for lab and hightech facilities including teaching/research
  • Working as part of a team develop flexible planning grids lab organization diagram and service distribution concepts
  • Document laboratory systems (casework lab equipment and lab space development)
  • Manage multiple small to mediumsized projects (negotiate project scope/fees job production/quality fee management)
  • Assist with business development (proposal development client interviews/presentations)
  • Build/maintain client relationships
  • Use technical expertise to lead team
  • Mentor junior staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Architecture
  • 6 years of experience in architectural lab programming/planning
  • Registered Architect
  • LEED AP
  • Experience managing clients project teams and project processes
  • Desire to learn more about sustainability
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Microsoft Office Suite and project management software


Salary is commensurate with experience.
