Job Description
Location: Washington DC
Manages the Quality Management Program
Manages the Quality Evaluator (QE) Team and provides guidance as needed.
Participates in Quality Reviews and Documents updates to SOPs QC workbooks and the Quality Management Plan.
Required Skill Set
Minimum of 4 years specialized experience which applies to quality best practices principles and guidelines definition and assurance requirements traceability testing phase management and execution and production delivery.
- Lead and manage enterprise data management infrastructure efforts including overseeing onpremises systems and leading cloud migration initiatives.
- Manage database administration tasks ensuring referential/data integrity pointintime recovery and custom coding are successfully executed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design implement and maintain complex data architectures that scale across a variety of platforms including cloud and onpremise systems.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in designing and supporting modern database technologies.
- Lead transformation initiatives focused on building an enterprisewide data layer.
- Oversee the implementation of Data Ops practices across teams to improve data quality consistency and deployment efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff and stakeholders regarding best practices for data architecture and management.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while managing sensitive data.
- Proficiency with various database technologies including but not limited to Oracle SQL Server Postgres MariaDB MySQL and Azure Database services.
- Indepth understanding of data migration strategies and experience with cloud platforms (such as Azure) for enterprise data solutions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in managing and overseeing data architecture transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Data Ops principles and the ability to implement and manage these practices in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in both onpremises and cloudbased systems.
- Proven experience in database administration (DBA) including tasks such as referential/data integrity pointintime recovery and custom coding.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (Master s degree preferred).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in data management cloud platforms or database technologies are highly preferred (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Oracle Certified Professional).
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience managing enterprise data management infrastructure.
ETL/ELT, Oracle, SQLServer, Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, and Azure Database services, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, JIRA, or Microsoft Project
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
