CPS Insurance Services Inc. is a leading provider of insurance solutions dedicated to protecting individuals and businesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Remote Proofreader to join our growing team. This is a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of all written communications.
Responsibilities:
Review and proofread a wide range of documents including but not limited to:
Insurance policies contracts and endorsements
Marketing and sales materials
Correspondence with clients and agents
Legal and regulatory filings
Identify and correct grammatical spelling punctuation and typographical errors.
Ensure consistency in style tone and terminology.
Verify accuracy and completeness of information.
Meet deadlines and maintain high levels of productivity.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including underwriters claims adjusters and marketing professionals.
Maintain a strong understanding of insurance terminology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional proofreading experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the insurance industry.
Familiarity with insurance terminology and regulations.
Experience with proofreading software and tools.
