About the Team
The team develops the core APIs used by all devices on our platform to control react to onboard and list devices. If highvolume systems critical to customer success excite you then this opportunity is for you! The team is at the centre of our IoT strategy which actively evolves to meet customer expectations adopt new standards new compliance and certification requirements and continuous business growth. In this role youll be able to work on highimpact projects in a fastpaced highvisibility environment with a team of highperforming engineers.
Required
Experience with Java
JVM web frameworks. Micronaut Spring Boot etc.
Experience with asynchronous serverside programming.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB.
Strong experience with modern nonblocking/asynchronous server frameworks like Micronaut Sprint Boot Node.js Spring WebFlux etc.
Thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment
Experience with large complex microservice architecture and servicetoservice interconnectability
Experience with Linux systems.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
Experience operating production services in AWS.
Comfortable deploying and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Generally identifies as a hard working light hearted joyful growth mindset individual
Nice to have
Experience with RatPack is a plus.
Experience with Kotlin
Experience with Kafka.
Experience with IoT device applications.

Running functional tests locally
Include clientid in with Rate Limits
Category Extraction to Duplo
Cassandra Migration
Manifold MySQL to DynamoDB migration
Fix Gizmo Pagination
Implement Circuit Breakers across Gizmo for all backends accordingly
Manifold Backend conversion Phase 2 & 3
PagerDuty monitors and alert audits and adjustment implementation
Removing complex dead code from Gizmo
