Job Description
Qualifications :
Minimum:
- BA/BS plus 6 years of utility coordination or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Knowledge of utility and roadway construction for the installation or relocation of underground and overhead utilities.
Preferred:
- 10 years experience performing utility coordination in accordance with MassDOT FHWA and AASHTO standards policies and procedures.
- Experience and knowledge of utility and roadway construction for the installation or relocation of underground and overhead utilities.
- Experience and knowledge of reviewing and understanding Utility Agency/Owner (UAO) design documents utility specifications and utility work schedules.
- Experience and proficiency in reading MassDOT Roadway Plans MassDOT Utility Adjustment Plans and UAO Construction Plans for water sewer gas communications and power.
- Experience and knowledge of MassDOT rightofway and easement requirements related to railroads and utilities.
- Experience and knowledge of the MassDOT plans production process and utility coordination process.
- DesignBuild experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office program applications
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation ORD/SS10 Bluebeam Adobe Acrobat
