Job Description

Supervise the work from the point of view of risk prevention.

Followup of corrective actions through meetings with prevention teams on the field. In case of deviations the events will be investigated

Improve the applied preventive techniques in order to obtain zero accidents in the project.

The responsibilities of the Construction Safety Facilitator shall include the following: Daily and weekly expectations of 80% field/ 20% office balance.

  1. Monitor and advice on EHS requirements and applicable EHS references of the Scope of Work(SOW) regulatory requirements are implemented and followed onsite. Daily engagement in the field Boots on the Ground (BOTG)
  2. Interface and support the construction management team at site by delivering current accurate and timely data on Contractor EHS performance including: Leading and Lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPls) trends incident management environmental monitoring EHS metrics and other key information that enable DC construction management to make informed timely decisions.
  3. Participate/attend essential meetings not limited to GC all hands Stand downs Orientations Safety Committee EHS Leads Activity Briefing Coordination Meeting etc.
  4. Ensure adequate site safety walks are conducted as needed with the Contractor management representative and the Owners PM/team.
  5. Create validate and communicate lessons learned via Significant Events (SE) and Significant Potential Events (SPE) with Project construction EHS team and trade partners.
  6. Others related to ESH 

 


Qualifications :

  1. Administrative experience necessary to develop the activity.
  2. Experience in electrical risk jobs
  3. Experience in high risk height
  4. 810 Year experience in Construction Safety Mandatory
  5. Spanish and English fluent speaking and writing Knowledgeable of local regulatory requirements is mandatory
