Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director IT Agile Practices Lead you will:
- Create an environment where delivery teams are highly aligned and autonomous. Focus is given on the continuous improvement of our delivery processes ensuring that teams work collectively together to achieve their common goals deliver quality outputs within budgets and timeframes that meet our Clients and stakeholders expectations.
- Work closely with key roles such as upper Management Heads of Software Engineering Chapter Leads and Project Managers to ensure clarity and excellence.
- Guide the team on selforganizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum framework.
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments. Support team implement changes effectively.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or being judged with an emphasis on healing and problemsolving.
- Assist with internal and external communication improve transparency and relay information with the purpose of improving discussions decision making and conflict resolution.
- Support and educate the Product Owner especially on requirements refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
- Provide support to the team using an servant leadership style and lead by example.
- Produce team agile metrics & reports and continuously introduce agile practices to enable better work planning work estimation work breakdown and reporting.

Qualifications :
You Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 3 years for a software development team that was applying Scrum principles practices and theory.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership facilitation situational awareness conflict resolution continual improvement empowerment and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of various welldocumented agile patterns and practices (e.g.: numerous Burndown technologies various Retrospective formats handling bugs estimation techniques)
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes.
- Experience in using Jira and Confluence.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) will be considered as a plus.
