Summary:
We have a unique opportunity to join a talented multidisciplined team. We are looking for a selfmotivated individual who has a passion for engineering and technology. You should have mechanical/hydraulic/electrical (preferred) experience along with onsite industry exposure. Experience with pumps and understand the fundamentals of pumping. You will be competent with the use of IT due to collating data which will be shared with the wider team.
The role will require frequent travel on a weekly basis throughout the UK. As you progress through the training there will be a requirement for international travel working on specialist projects all over the world.
This role would suit someone that currently works in the water/industrial industry and knows the basics of pumping systems they should have a level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering and have the aptitude to learn and develop in a fast paced hands on environment. Therefore being able to be flexible and adaptable to the business needs will be important in an everchanging technical environment. A knowledge of Edge devices/communication devices would be advantageous.
The role has many elements but the key focus will be installing our own specialist monitoring and testing equipment for various hydraulic systems including pump fans hydraulic networks and aeration networks. Whilst onsite you will also be undertaking specialist measurement campaigns deploying our cuttingedge hardware and software technology into the water industry as well as offering full application support as and when required to our partners and growing customer base.
Our core technology employs precision temperature pressure and power measurement to determine the hydraulic performance of turbomachines. Realtime data from each asset is used to inform the client about asset efficiency and recommend operational changes in order to achieve maximum process efficiency.
We develop electronic hardware including precision sensor technology as well as a range of software platforms. Our software tools are deployed on both Cloud or onpremise platforms. Integration with SCADA or other intelligent systems is also a key feature of our solutions along with remote technical support.
We utilise cuttingedge wireless communication technology and battery powered IIoT solutions. We integrate with a cloud platform using 4G data services and also integrate with client industrial SCADA systems in partnership with system integrators.
