Job Description

The Conference Producer is a dynamic role that combines market research strategic planning and operational excellence to deliver impactful conferences within the renewable energy sector. You will be at the intersection of content creation speaker engagement and event profitability as an adept professional you can identify emerging trends craft compelling agendas and deliver revenuedriven events. Leveraging strong research techniques market insights and customer understanding as the Senior Conference Producer you will define and manage event strategies while collaborating closely with marketing sales and operational teams to ensure seamless execution.

As the ideal candidate you demonstrate exceptional organizational skills industry knowledge and teamwork ensuring events meet deadlines and financial targets. Additionally this role involves mentoring junior staff fostering thought leadership through content creation and consistently enhancing the companys market position in the renewable energy industry. The ability to craft and execute a strategic vision makes this position integral to driving both the business and its events forward.
 

Role Accountability and Duties:

Conduct Comprehensive Research

  • Utilize desk research to build detailed research plans and industry market maps.
  • Arrange and conduct structured research calls and interviews to gather actionable insights.
  • Analyze customer drivers for both attendees and sponsors to shape event strategies.

Event Design and Structure

  • Identify and define engaging and sponsorable conference topics.
  • Transform research notes into wellstructured event agendas.
  • Select appropriate formats (e.g. presentations panels roundtables) and develop profitable addons.

Speaker Management

  • Identify and invite relevant speakers crafting effective outreach and followups.
  • Manage speaker objections and secure confirmations for participation.
  • Coordinate with speakers preevent and ensure smooth onsite execution of schedules.

Marketing and Copywriting

  • Write impactful marketing and website copy to drive interest and attendance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling sponsorship and delegate sales briefs.

Social Media and Networking

  • Maximize LinkedIn usage for building connections research and speaker outreach.
  • Promote events and personal expertise using social media tools like Buffer.

Event Commercials and Profitability

  • Develop commercially attractive conference programs with optimal ticket pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to enhance revenue opportunities through events.

Time and Task Management

  • Implement effective time management techniques and identify opportunities for task automation.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure seamless execution of event planning milestones.

Sales and Marketing Integration

  • Work with marketing teams on indepth data gap analyses and actionable insights.
  • Develop cohesive strategies that align sponsorship delegate sales and marketing efforts.

Event and Speaker Execution

  • Host and manage conference rooms onsite ensuring timely coordination with speakers and team members.
  • Collaborate with event managers and team members to guarantee successful event delivery.

Software Proficiency

  • Utilize tools like Salesforce Aventri WordPress and MapYourShow to enhance event planning tracking and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • A baseline of fundamental knowledge in a similar role involved with live content development and production B2B conferences.
  • Prior knowledge or experience in manufacturing electronics energy storage or automotive a bonus
  • Excellent scheduling organisational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write marketable session descriptions and agendas (copywriting).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a deadlineoriented environment.
  • Masterful multitasking abilities.
  • Comfort with coldcalling potential speakers and alumni delegates/attendees for research
