Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Hamilton ON from MondaySaturday starting at 8:00am. As a General Labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy handson work.
What youre responsible for:
- Receive sort and organize different types of nonferrous metals
- Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the RECY system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- Experience in operating a forklift
- Experience in metal recycling
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent attendance and safety record.
