We are seeking a Manager of Operations to oversee the Nusuk Card project which aims to enhance the pilgrimage experience by providing a smart card for seamless movement between holy sites and access to various services The ideal candidate will manage all operational aspects of the project ensuring that workflows align with project goals and are executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Oversight :
Lead and manage all operational aspects of the Nusuk Card project.
Ensure smooth execution of workflows and adherence to project timelines.
Team Leadership :
Supervise and mentor the operations team providing direction and resolving issues as they arise.
Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
Resource Management :
Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals and maintain operational efficiency.
Monitor budget utilization and optimize costs where possible.
Stakeholder Coordination :
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment on project deliverables.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address challenges and achieve objectives.
Quality and Process Improvement :
Implement and maintain quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) to ensure highquality outcomes.
Apply Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to optimize processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
Performance Monitoring :
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success.
Prepare and present regular reports on project progress challenges and solutions
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Management or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Experience :
Minimum of 10 years in operations management with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Experience in largescale projects is highly preferred
Skills :
Leadership: Strong leadership and decisionmaking capabilities.
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Proficiency:
Tools: MS Project AutoCAD ERP systems.
Systems: Expertise in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 14001).
Methodologies: Process improvement tools (e.g. Six Sigma Lean).
Project Management : Familiarity with methodologies like PMP or Agile is an advantage.
Languages :
Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
