Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Operations Specialist to support the Nusuk Card project which aims to enhance the pilgrimage experience by providing a smart card for seamless movement between holy sites and access to services The ideal candidate will assist with daily tasks ensure operational workflows align with project objectives and maintain high performance under the guidance of the Operations Manager.


Key Responsibilities


Operational Support :

Assist in managing the operational aspects of the Nusuk Card project

Ensure workflows are executed efficiently and meet set timelines.

Team Coordination :

Collaborate with the operations team to address daily challenges and provide necessary support.

Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.

Resource Utilization :

Support resource allocation to ensure project efficiency.

Monitor and report on resource usage to the Operations Manager.

Stakeholder Communication :

Assist in maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide updates on project tasks and status.

Quality and Process Improvement :

Follow established quality management processes (e.g. ISO standards).

Learn and apply basic process improvement tools such as Lean principles.

Performance Monitoring :

Collect data for performance metrics and prepare initial reports.

Highlight any issues or risks to the Operations Manager for timely resolution.



Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Management or a related field.


Experience:

12 years in a related operational or project support role. Internship experience is acceptable.


Skills :

Basic understanding of operational workflows and project management principles

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint)

Willingness to learn quality management systems (e.g. ISO) and process improvement tools (e.g. Lean)

Languages :

Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

Education : Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master s degree preferred). Experience : Minimum of 10 years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience in large-scale projects is highly preferred Skills : Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities. Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Technical Proficiency: Tools: MS Project, AutoCAD, ERP systems. Systems: Expertise in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Methodologies: Process improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean). Project Management : Familiarity with methodologies like PMP or Agile is an advantage. Languages : Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
