Job Overview
As a ServiceNow Developer you will play a pivotal role in development configuration
maintenance and deployment of business applications built using the ServiceNow Platform and
integrate with other systems. Your expertise in ServiceNow will be essential in developing
implementing and maintaining solutions that improve operational efficiency customer service and
order fulfilment.

ServiceNow Development

• Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to align with customer specific
• requirements ensuring seamless integration with existing environments and systems
• Take responsibility for coding testing debugging and creating technical documentation as
• well as test cases and test automation
• Integration: Integrate ServiceNow via APIs with fulfilment systems assurance systems billing
• systems finance/procurement/logistics systems and other telecomspecific applications to
• streamline order processing and fulfilment
• Develop configure implement und unit test stories during development phase
• Conduct peer code review and unit testing for developed stories based on planned sprints
• Estimate story points define and configure solution based on stories
• Participate in agile ceremonies following SCRUM and SAFe methodology e.g. assess and
• estimate requirements sprint planning sprint demo backlog grooming etc.
• Make sure customization doesnt impact already existing functionalities and will also not
• become barrier during upgrades
• Ensure ServiceNow recommended best practices followed while coding and delivered code
• is aligned to defined architecture to ensure scalability upgradeability and performance of
• the implementations
• Create runbook and execute deployment from development to Test and Production instance
• Participate in customer and end user demo sessions to impart knowledge and user trainings
• Security and Compliance
• Implement security controls and compliance measures specific to the telecommunications
• industry including data privacy and regulatory requirements
• Enforce rolebased access control to protect sensitive data
• Documenta9on and Training
• Document all configurations customizations and best practices related to ITSM Order
• Management and other modules

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer (4 Years)
• Excellent handson knowledge and experience of ServiceNow development activities
• including JavaScript HTML Glide Record Glide System Glide Ajax ServerSide Scripting
• ClientSide Scripting Business Rules Script Includes UI Policies UI Actions UI Pages etc.
• Must have working experience of ServiceNow integrations with other applications using
• ServiceNow APIs i.e. REST/SOAP web services basic/oAuth authentication and SSO LDAP
• integration
• Experience in modern engineering practices e.g. DevOps CI/CD automation APIs
• Must have knowledge & working experience of Reporting Notification Dashboard
• ServiceNow Cloning/Upgrade Module and Flow Designer
• One or more ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
• Excellent problemsolving skills
