Job Overview:
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing service delivery processes such as order management assurance and orchestration. Your expertise in ServiceNow will be essential in designing developing implementing and maintaining solutions to improve operational efficiency customer service and order fulfillment.
This role follows agile principles where the team shares responsibility for implementation requiring an open and agile mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Development
- Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to align with customerspecific requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and implement automation scripts business rules workflows and other coding objects to optimize ServiceNow performance.
- Take responsibility for coding testing debugging and creating technical documentation and test automation.
- Integrate ServiceNow with telecomspecific applications such as fulfillment systems assurance systems billing finance procurement and logistics.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (SCRUM SAFe) including sprint planning demos backlog grooming and requirement assessments.
- Develop custom applications using ServiceNow best practices.
- Create runbooks and execute deployments from development to test and production instances.
- Conduct customer and enduser demo sessions and provide knowledgesharing and user training.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security controls and compliance measures specific to the telecommunications industry including data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce rolebased access controls to protect sensitive data.
Documentation & Training
- Document all configurations customizations and best practices related to ITSM Order Management and other modules.
- Work closely with senior team members to provide guidance to colleagues and endusers.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs including REST API integrations.
- Handson experience in ServiceNow development including:
- Serverside scripting clientside scripting
- Business rules script includes UI policies UI actions UI pages
- Experience in modern engineering practices (DevOps CI/CD automation APIs).
- At least one ServiceNow certification such as:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of telecomspecific service delivery practices and processes.
- Experience with TM Forum (TMF) Open APIs.
