Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to assist in the delivery of robust engineering and maintenance within the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) department at our Dawson Mine in Moura QLD.
Reporting to the CHPP Electrical Maintenance Supervisor the Electrical Technician performs all logistical and electrical maintenance functions within the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) in order to optimise the performance and ensure availability of the CHPP process in accordance with the Dawson Mine business plan.
You will have a positive and energetic attitude towards team involvement and contribution to the CHPP team. You will want to show exceptional communication and people skills possessing knowledge and experience with an ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
You will possess at least three (3) years electrical trade experience including maintenance inspections industrial installations fault finding and repair of equipment including HV Infrastructure Yard Machines (Stackers/Reclaimers) Conveying Equipment Motor Control Centres Instrumentation PLC Citect SCADA and pneumatic systems.
High Voltage Switching Instrumentation PLC and SCADA control systems experience along with competencies in Working at Heights Elevated Work Platform Forklift Confined Space and HR Truck License is advantageous.
Qualifications :
- Electrical Trade Qualification (possesses current Queensland Electrical Licence)
